⚖️ Legal Advocacy for FAA Oversight Reform

FAA policies must comply with federal law, respect airman rights, and reflect science—not stigma. We advocate for pilots impacted by psychiatric monitoring—including those flagged for alcohol or drug use, SSRI or mental health prescriptions, therapy, trauma, or suspicion without clinical diagnosis.

📋 Our Focus Areas

  • 📌 Access to independent medical appeals
  • 📌 Transparent and evidence-based certification standards
  • 📌 Due process for all pilots—including those without formal diagnoses
  • 📌 Protection from First and Fifth Amendment violations
  • 📌 Separation of employers from medical influence
  • 📌 Legislative and regulatory oversight of FAA psychiatric protocols

🚨 Major Legal Development

In April 2024, a Petition for Writ of Mandamus was filed against the FAA and senior HIMS officials for unlawful retaliation and obstruction in pilot medical certification. This case highlights systemic failures—including lack of due process, indefinite monitoring without cause, and punitive retribution against whistleblowers. We are committed to pursuing broad-based legal and legislative reform to end these abuses.
